If you feel trapped, undervalued, confused or not sure what you want from life, we can help. We offer a range of personal development groups and activities. We can help you make small, subtle, changes that add up to have a big positive impact on your life.

‍Come to the Women’s Centre – where there’s a relaxed, comfortable and supportive environment for you to express yourself freely, share your thoughts and feelings, explore new ideas and techniques, all to help you cope better with life.

Drop In Services

MONDAY

  • 10am – 12pm: Domestic Abuse Drop In

Drop in to register for support specifically around domestic abuse. 

TUESDAY

  • 10am – 12pm: Come and Meet Us

If you are new to the Centre, come and register to access services.

  • 1pm – 3pm: Chat and Chill

Drop in where you can socialise and gain peer support.

WEDNESDAY

  • 10am – 12pm: Chat and Chill

Drop in where you can socialise and gain peer support.

  • 1pm – 3pm: Here2Hear

Peer support for women who have previously accessed services and want to help shape future services.

THURSDAY

  • 1pm – 3pm: It’s Good To Talk

Come and meet our Young Person’s (18-25) worker for advice and guidance on your wellbeing. 

FRIDAY

  • 10am – 12pm: Over 50’s Coffee and Chat 

Creative Activities

Come and enjoy a morning or afternoon sewing, knitting, art, or any number of other creative crafts.

You could join our Book Group or Creative Writing Workshops. You’ll have the chance to spend time with other women, learn new skills, relax and have a good time.

Advice & Signposting

SWC Counselling Volunteer Role

At the Centre we have contact with lots of other agencies and organisations. If we don’t know the answer we probably know someone who does!

We also offer Welfare Rights and legal advice by appointment only.
