Every year we receive around 9,000 phone calls from women seeking support, with around 950 women accessing support in person at our centre over 12 months.
The most common needs we support women with are:
  • Children, family and relationship needs
  • Support to manage mental health needs and access appropriate NHS pathways
  • Support with domestic abuse (current or historic experiences)
  • Wellbeing needs (such as managing long term health conditions)
The women we support are often managing extremely complex lives which single-issue services cannot manage. More than 90% of the women we provide one-to-one support to are managing four or more needs.
Our mission is to provide each of these women with the safe space, support and skills to thrive.

I now have more compassion for myself, I am working towards building a healthier, safer life for myself. People around me noticed changes before I even recognised them. I still have a long way to go, but acknowledge how far I’ve come just by opening up to someone.”
